Job Description Summary
The College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites applicants for our Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program (PCNP). We have an opening for a full-time 12-month, non-tenure track position to begin August 1, 2024.
The primary responsibility of the clinical track faculty member is to provide instruction in the hybrid format including online, classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings with graduate students. Clinical track faculty also engage in service to the college and university and work in intraprofessional/interprofessional teams for scholarly productivity. As part of a land grant university, outreach is an essential part of the university and college missions. Clinical track faculty assume active roles in College of Nursing outreach activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications for Clinical Track: Doctor of Nursing Practice or other doctoral degree, current Family Nurse Practitioner certification and current clinical skills, and eligibility for, or possession of an unencumbered Alabama RN license at the time employment begins. Demonstrated current clinical experience required. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

Desired Qualifications: Teaching experience in a family nurse practitioner program and healthcare simulation experience.
