Job Summary |
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development is excited to begin the search for a Financial Assistant! The individual in this position performs a variety of basic financial and clerical tasks within the Department of Contracts and Grants Accounting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparing, examining, coding and processing forms, vouchers, documents and reports for transactions; generating, reviewing, analyzing, reconciling and processing reports/listings; working with others to clarify policies and procedures and resolve discrepancies; work may involve collections and disbursements of cash, checks and other negotiable instruments. Minimum Qualifications |
Level I - High School diploma or equivalent. Level II - High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in financial support services. Substitutions allowed for Experience: Degrees accepted in lieu of experience requirement for advanced levels, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience. |
