Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Configuration Release Analyst Senior in Jacksonville, FL to be responsible for utilizing specialized understanding of FIS methodologies to develop effective configuration management strategies and solutions for existing and new products. Apply expertise of proprietary methodologies to coordinate, facilitate, manage, and control scheduled and approved change windows for product release and infrastructure maintenance windows. Conduct risk assessment and impact analysis of changes throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure minimal disruption to the organization and FIS clients. Engineer process improvements and identify automation opportunities. Utilize unique understanding of proprietary methodologies to work with FIS development and release management teams to ensure business requirements are defined and solutions accurately designed to meet stated business needs. Administer and maintain source code repositories stored within software configuration management tools. Apply unique knowledge of proprietary methodologies to troubleshoot internal software automation tools and utilities and maintain all internal documentation. Setup projects in the version control tool, creating and troubleshooting distributed builds and compiles, as well as training and providing consultation to development teams on how to use supporting tools. Utilize specialized understanding of proprietary methodologies to perform application conversion, configuration, and release deployment duties. Support internal customers by responding to help desk calls, performing night on call activities as requested and completing service requests related to version control, software development lifecycle management and build management, distribution and deploy management.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing COBOL mainframe z/OS programming language for the purpose of software development and debugging; working with mainframe z/OS JCL (Job Control Language) for oncall and client support; serving as administrative role of Broadcom's ENDEVOR source control management software; and working with modern concepts within software release and configuration management.
