Current Need: We are seeking a new leader for our Primary Care Inventory Analyst team to join us in either Jacksosnville, FL or Richmond, VA. Our ideal preferred candidate will be located in one of these two locations. Relocation assistance will not be available for this position.

Job Description: The Manager of our Primary Care Sales Support will be responsible for leading a team of Inventory Analysts that directly support the Primary Care sales organization by building trusting partnerships with those we support through strategic inventory solutions.

Business Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for independently leading the Primary Care Inventory team supporting Regional VPs, Area Sales Managers, and Account Managers.

  • Manage a team of analysts responsible for fill rate performance through root cause analysis and reporting to proactively address potential forecast and inventory failures; analyzing sales trends to determine the capital investment needed to sustain business growth; managing inventory assets through excess channels.

  • Communicates strategy including market shortages, allocation strategy, and inventory process changes to Materials Mgmt. Leadership, Primary Care Sales Leadership, and potentially reporting statuses up to ELT level.

  • Serve as key point of contact and SME for cross functional discussions between Primary Care Sales Teams, Materials Mgmt., Supplier Mgmt., Sales Admin, Legal, and Manufacturer for intersections that are required for varied projects and initiatives.

  • Develop and lead inventory improvement plans to prepare for pandemic/natural disasters, high profile account initiatives, while considering financial and logistical constraints.

  • Responsible for varied projects related to operational changes, process changes, and customer experience enhancements.

  • Identify process improvements and implement ideas, keeping departmental and business unit objectives in mind.

  • Develop SOP's for key or complex functions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional experience

  • 0 - 2 years of supervisory experience

Critical Preferred Skills:

  • 6+ years inventory experience to include inventory policies and practices

  • 2+ years managing a team to specific performance objectives

  • Strong understanding of forecasting and demand planning concepts

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare distribution preferred

  • Experience with McKesson inventory management systems and processes preferred

Additional Skills:

  • Project Management experience preferred

  • Proven successful managing competing priorities while following projects to completion

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel required and basic SQL preferred

  • Working knowledge of multiple platforms/systems such as JDE, JDA, and Salesforce preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education/Training:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required

  • 4-year degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience preferred

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$75,500 - $125,900
