Job Summary | The Office of Professional and Continuing Education is home to Auburn Youth Programs which operates academic, athletic, cheer, and dance summer camps for over 4,000 students throughout the summer. Camp counselors and staff will help Auburn Youth Programs bring our summer camps to life and help our campers have a unique experience at Auburn University. |
Essential Functions | There are many ways to serve in Auburn Youth Programs. The following paragraph describes some of the summer roles that AYP offers. Full job descriptions for each role below can be found on our website: aub.ie/AYPJobs A successful Auburn Youth Programs Staff Member will be an Auburn student with a passion for impacting and serving youth. We're looking for an individual that will work behind the scenes to support the smooth and safe operation of all AYP camps and programs and ensure an extraordinary Auburn Experience for camp participants. Student is allowed to take summer classes but must work a minimum of 20 hours a week. Meals provided if working during a mealtime. |

Preferred Qualifications | Previous summer camp counselor experience or experience working with 6th - 12th grade students preferred. |
