The SSI Group, LLC, headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, is a national leader in Healthcare Technology.

Purpose of Position

Perform required activities and provide guidance to clients during the implementation of SSI products including training, process review & design, best practice recommendations, and go live support.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Conducts client workflow session to understand the client's current processes and needs, identifies gaps in current processes, and recommends the best approach for configuring and using the SSI products.
  • Ensures system configuration and set up meets established requirements prior to client training.
  • Evaluates test job results and communicate required actions.
  • Performs implementation activities as outlined on product implementation and training guides.
  • As required, updates training materials for client specific workflows.
  • Conducts required product training as defined in the SSI implementation guidelines.
  • Administers and reviews end user competency tests and communicate required actions to address identified issues.
  • Assists client staff during go live and ensure system is working properly and users are proficient using the system and defined workflows.
  • Runs, reviews and discusses results of product specific management reports, as defined in the implementation guidelines, and communicates required actions to address identified issues.
  • Assists client with reporting and documenting issues using the SSI issue management system.
  • Creates implementation documentation for assigned activities per the SSI standard format.
  • Identifies and resolves client project issues and escalate issues appropriately when required.
  • If requested, participates in implementation to support transition call.
  • Participates in implementation to support transition call.
  • Records time spent on and status of assigned tasks on projects in the project management system.
  • Acts as a positive role model in all aspects of professional performance.
  • Observes safety procedures and personnel policies

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Must have understanding of healthcare revenue cycle and have ability to apply knowledge to addressing client problems.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and prioritize effectively.
  • Must have strong presentation skills including ability to design effective presentation materials.
  • Must possess strong communications skills including the ability to handle difficult situations.
  • Must have be able to communicate effectively with those at an executive level.
  • Must demonstrate strong client service skills.
  • Must be able to interact cordially and productively with co-workers in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision, make independent judgment decisions, and remain effective under pressure.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and move around the building and elsewhere regularly.
  • Must be able to use telephone and computer for significant periods of time during workday.
  • Must be able to proficiently read and write in English.
  • Must be able to travel by automobile or airplane at least 65%.

Security Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement and act in accordance with the organization's information security policies;
  • Protect assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference;
  • Execute particular security processes or activities;
  • Ensure responsibility is assigned to the individual for actions taken; and
  • Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the InfoSec department.

Driver's License

Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and be insurable through the company's insurance carrier.

A combination of experience and advanced education may be substituted. Background checks and drug test required.
