Bartender

Part time

Part Time (4:45 pm start time)Pay Rate: $8.00 hr

Work Performed:

TheBartender will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:

  • Provideexceptional service to guests by promptly welcoming and courteously servingguests;

  • Dispensealcoholic beverages and control service to ensure accordance with liquor laws and company policies andregulations;

  • Ensurecleanlinessand sanitationof thebar;

  • Perform side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, miscellaneous preparation, stocking,etc.;

  • Ensureall alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to closingtime;

  • Completeopening and closingduties;

  • AdheretoHealth Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be in risk of cross-contamination.

  • Keep compartment sink, side boards, and refrigerators(and its contents)clean and sanitizedbydatingand rotatingfoodon a dailybasis;

  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents,injuriesand unsafe work conditions to management; and

  • Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications:

  • Six (6) months of previousbartending experience
  • Prior food handling experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food Safety Trainingcertifiedor become certified within first 60 days of employment
  • Alcohol Awareness certifiedor become certified within first 60 days of employment
  • Previous experience with Micros operating system
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionally
  • Able to lift 10 lbs.regularly
  • Ableto bend and squat repeatedly
  • Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
  • Meet state minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Flexible towork days, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidayshifts
