In anticipation of the contract award, we are seeking Information Technology Specialists who will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Agency Information Management and Software Services (AIMSS) mission by providing full-scope information technology (IT) support to classified and unclassified systems, applications, and networks in a complex hybrid multi-cloud environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, administration, operation, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation of unclassified and classified equipment/devices under DoD and customer guidance, instructions, procedures, and processes leveraging Agile methodologies. You will ensure IT systems and networks are fully functional for all operational and support activities hosted and services by the Program. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Program Management, Information Assurance (Cyber), software development teams, analysis groups, and end-users to understand and implement requirements necessary to fulfill customer requirements. You will perform regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries. In addition, you will maintain IT databases and perform light programming tasks with system administration needs. Your expertise will lend to research, evaluate, and recommend new and emerging IT system technologies to advance and support Program requirements. You will provide technical leadership in the integration and testing of complex large-scale networks. You will interface with vendors for procurement and maintenance of infrastructure equipment and assist with Government Furnished Equipment / Government Furnished Property (GFE / GFP) contract hardware/software maintenance, repairs, and processes. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory and organization of different types of software and hardware resources.

Required

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, science, or other relevant field
• Must have an in-scope DoD Security Clearance
• Willing to periodically travel in support of test events
• Ability to provide on-site support at MDA facilities
• DoD Instruction 8570.01M IA certification

Desired

• Experience supporting the US Ballistic Missile Defense System
• Experience handling classified data
• SQL Server / SQL Server as a Service experience
• AWS, Azure, VMWare experience
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Hands-on experience with IaC technologies including CloudFormation, Azure Resource Management templates, Terraform, etc
• Experience installing and using various CI/CD tools
• Windows and Linux system administration experience
