Description:

Markon Solutions is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to support one of our Intelligence Community customers at a major campus. This individual will assist the government Project Management Office (PMO) with project management, requirements development, design review, solution implementation, office administration, and status reporting for the facilities enterprise. This role requires day-to-day owner representation and knowledge of the policies, methods, and procedures in the field of information technology and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Review designs submitted for changes to government facilities
  • Assist with the management of project designs and/or construction efforts
  • Integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel
  • Conduct inspections to ensure conformance with IT design specifications and building codes
  • Provide official weekly project status reports
  • Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams and stakeholders
  • Collect IT requirements, prepare scopes of work, conduct market research, and develop sole source justification, as needed
  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals
  • Conduct and approve punch-list items prior to property turn-over
  • Maintain, track, and update contract change requests
  • Oversee the implementation of IT infrastructure
  • Coordinate client network and security infrastructure requirements with installation contractor activities and ensure compliance with project designs and USG regulations
  • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout project lifecycle to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline

Job Requirements

Required:

  • TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Registered Communications Distribution Design (RCDD) certification
  • 6+ years of experience managing complex projects
  • Basic knowledge of national and international cabling standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and diverse stakeholder engagement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to travel

Desired:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
  • General knowledge of construction documentation
  • Experience using SharePoint
  • Knowledge of IC cabling standards and network infrastructure
