Job Description

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), a leadership position in the Company, will be an integral part of the finance and accounting team and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The position manages and directs the financial planning and analysis processes to support senior management from a financial and strategic perspective. The position will assist with the preparation of internal and external financial reports, Board of Director's materials, monthly financial analysis materials, quarterly externally communicated materials and provide ad hoc analysis for the organization. The leadership position will be responsible for performing functions that support the company's strategic planning and investment initiatives, including creating financial and sensitivity models.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Conduct in-depth analysis of the financial results and prepare monthly management reports, including Board of Director's materials

Work with and provide the business operations and corporate department leaders with relevant and timely analytics and reporting, to manage their expenses and ensure operational leverage and achievement of annual budgets and strategic goals.

Develop strong relationships with the business operations, the executive team, the Chief Accounting Officer and others in the organization to drive accountability and achievement of the company's annual budget and overall strategic plan. Develop strong relationships with external providers such as investment bankers, consultants, and shareholders to deliver key insights and analytics.

Be an active participant and leader in cross functional teams for organizational improvements such as ESG, Risk Management, organic growth projects and others.

Lead, manage, develop and improve the automation, timeliness and processes for financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the company, including creating financial models.

Lead and develop financial models using multiple valuation methods for long term growth projects and M&A with key metrics such as NPV, IRR, ROI and ROCE.

Develop, produce, and deliver timely, monthly/quarterly/annual budget to actual operating results and related analysis including narratives providing explanations for budget variances for management and board reporting.

Lead and drive continuous improvement of the FP&A function, implementing process automation, report and analysis development and standardization, optimizing ERP systems and technology updates and implementations. Drive organizational improvement by working closely with others in the organization developing, implementing and leading continuous improvement ideas and solutions.

Develop, produce and deliver timely, quarterly operating results and related analysis to support the company's communications to shareholders in press releases, earnings calls and ad hoc shareholder communications.

Manage the timely delivery of required financial and key performance indicator reporting to the executive management team, and for board of directors' meetings.

Develop and sustain metrics, analyses and dashboards of financial and operational performance to evaluate and improve organizational performance.

Execute value-added analysis and provide decision support for special projects and initiatives.

Partner with the CFO, to respond to shareholder/analyst and media requests and provide appropriate information regarding the Company's operating results, business strategies, and other publicly communicated corporate news releases.

Assist, develop and maintain established relationships with key stakeholders such investors, credit and equity research analysts, risk management professionals.

Assist the development of a communication strategy to communicate progress through (1) press releases, (2) telephone contact, (3) one-on-one meetings with Wall Street in conjunction with the CFO and other members of Senior Management as necessary, (4) investor conferences (presentations and follow-on meetings) and (5) in-house meetings as necessary.
