We are seeking an experienced Component Engineer to support missile program electronics redesign / reliability analysis efforts. You will review missile designs for electronic assemblies, circuit card assemblies and printed circuit boards. You will be responsible for developing stress derating requirements, qualification / screening requirements, and reliability test criteria. You will be analyzing electronic and electrical component requirements for obsolescence issues, and you will report your findings in an independent work environment. You will be operating in a fast-paced environment and engaging with various levels of stakeholders to ensure the electronic designs are capable of meeting program requirements and capable of being produced. In this role, you can expect to participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) with government, military, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) teammates; review electronic designs from OEMs; analyze reliability and functional test criteria; and respond to questions from government stakeholders. You will be interacting with the government project office and the OEM manufacturing and engineering staff.

Required

• BS or BA degree
• 9 years' experience in electronics design, manufacturing, reliability and/or industrial operations
• Some travel
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
