Summary

The Senior Client Service Associate works closely with the entire client service team to provide administrative support for the management of client relationships. The Senior Client Service Associate brings good judgment and excellent organizational skills to his or her work with the client service team. This position will work closely with the client service team to handle day-to-day tasks. The Senior Client Service Associate should feel comfortable with complex client relationships and exercise discretion and good judgment when interacting with clients. This position is able to independently handle tasks and assignments related to those relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Manage account openings, account distributions, IRA RMDs, and account terminations which includes but is not limited to receiving assets, obtaining cost basis, cost basis calculations, distributing assets, handling disbursements, processing cash, delivering in-kind charitable contributions, determining appropriate paperwork and governing documents, and ensuring correct client billing.
* Closely monitor investment portfolios for asset allocation compliance, cash balances, bond maturities, and security settlements to ensure that funds are available to clients and that portfolios are within policy constraints.
* Instruct custodians to wire funds or prepare checks at the request of the client.
* Coordinate with trading, operations, and external advisors to ensure that positions and asset values are up to date and accurate.
* Maintain telephone and written contact directly with clients and related third parties.
* Determine content and prepare presentation materials for existing clients and prospective client meetings.
* Attend client meetings.
* Review, develop, maintain, and deliver client facing tailored reports and communications.
* Test new applications, updates, and fixes.
* Update relevant information in portfolio management and trust accounting systems.
* Participate on committees and independently work on ad hoc projects for clients, the office, or the Firm.

Qualifications

* Candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn

Education and Experience

* Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree

Systems and Technology

* Required proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
