The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for carrying out all duties and responsibilities of a Plumber at the Journeyman level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating water, and draining systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

May be assigned any work that is reasonable for which the Journeyman Plumber is capable of performing.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

Must have a current Journeyman Plumber License.
• 5+ years' work experience at the Journeyman Plumber level.
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Must be knowledgeable in assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
