Job Description

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Scheduling Program Manager, with an active Top Secret Clearance for a facilities engineering program to support a federal Agency. The purpose of this position is to provide program management for the Employee Services Team, for all cross - functional projects and programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leads low to medium cross-functional projects and programs end-to-end using a formal PMO process.
  • Facilitates the development of a charter and integrated timeline.
  • Ensures all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or escalated.
  • Facilitates regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
  • Collaborates with core team to develop solutions and leads project team through implementation and completion. Responsible for reporting status of individual and groups of projects and programs.
  • Provides appropriate levels of detail and summarizes complex issues succinctly.
  • Manages internal and external relationships in support of program.
  • May provide consultation on complex low to high scale projects that integrate into an organized program.
  • Creates, maintains & distributes routine PMO reports, including status reports and updated Gantt charts.
  • May manage/oversee a team who are responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs.
  • Serves as a point of contact to clients and escalation point for any staffing, bandwidth, or delivery issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
  • May lead project teams and/or plan and manage assignments of lower-level employees.
  • Maintains scheduling system for FBI Redstone. As needed, reserves room(s) in the FBI North Campus as required by FBI customers.
  • Leads low to medium cross-functional projects and programs within the Redstone Facilities and Services Section (RFSS), end-to-end, using formal processes as instituted by the FBI.
  • Ensures all assigned projects and programs tracking inbound employees and contractors to FBI Redstone remain on schedule and issues are elevated to the appropriate level for resolution.
  • Attend regular daily meetings to review projects, programs, and pending tasks.
  • Collaborates with Employee Services (ES) team members to develop solutions to tasks related to goals and objectives and assists in the implementation accordingly. Responsible for reporting the status of all pending tasks under specific projects and programs.
  • Provides appropriate levels of details and summarizes projects and programs succinctly to ES leadership.
  • Manages internal and external relationships across FBI Redstone in support of projects and programs.
  • Accurately provides specific information related to ES processes to customers.
  • Creates, maintains & distributes weekly project and program reports, to include arrival reports.
  • Serves as a point of contact to FBI Redstone customers and elevates any delivery issues to ES leadership.
  • Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworker, as instructed.
  • PM may lead project teams and/or plan and manage assignments of lower-level contractors.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year College or university.
  • Minimum four years of related experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to FBI customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information.
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
  • Conducts advanced project and program analysis.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
  • Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong process skills, negotiating, decision-making and analytical skills are necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective professional/customer relationships.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, organizational policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
  • Responsible for adhering to all work unit and/or project deadlines.
  • PgMP (Program Management Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications preferred.
